How to play DinoGacha

Open packs

Everything starts with card packs. You begin with 5 free packs, and a new free pack refills every 8 hours until you have 5 again. Watching a short ad gives you an extra pack, once every 60 minutes.

DNA is the game’s currency. With it you can buy three kinds of pack: standard (5 cards, 120 DNA), XL (10 cards, 220 DNA) and rare (5 cards, 500 DNA, with an Epic or better card guaranteed).

Build your collection

Packs hold 180 prehistoric creatures, from Cambrian sea life to Ice Age mammals, across six rarities: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary and Mythic.

Duplicates are never wasted: recycle them into DNA, from 2 DNA for a Common to 125 DNA for a Mythic. Spend DNA to level up your favourite creatures up to level 100. Some cards come out of a pack with a mutation that raises their stats or gives them a new combat trait.

Dig up fossils

Some packs hide a skeleton. Dig it up tile by tile at the dig site, put it in the incubator and it hatches into one of 20 creatures you can only get by digging, from the Jackalope to the Kraken.

Battle

Pick a team of up to six creatures and fight turn by turn: choose when to attack, dodge, block or wait. Each creature’s stats, rarity and traits shape how it fights.

Practice battles come in three difficulties. Expeditions take your team through prehistoric zones, with bosses and mutant rivals along the way. The first win of each day pays an extra 50 DNA.

Daily rewards and quests

Open the game every day to claim the daily reward: a 7-day cycle of DNA and packs that ends with 150 DNA and a pack.

Four daily quests ask for things like opening a pack, winning a battle or blocking an attack. Finish all of them for a bonus pack and 5 excavation tools.

Play online and save your progress

DinoGacha creates an anonymous online account the first time you open it, so your progress is saved on our servers from the start. Link your Google account to protect it and to carry on from another phone.

Saving your progress with Google also unlocks the rankings and ranked PvP.

Season pass and PvP

Each month brings a season pass with 30 levels of rewards that you climb by playing, and a ranked PvP season with DNA prizes for the best players.
